Pretty Snowflake Card

Hi everyone!

It's cold here where I live so that means that soon there will be snow and then Christmas. I always try to make my Christmas cards in November because once December comes I get so busy that cards may very well be forgotten or I won't have enough time to make them. Here is one of the cards I designed for this year. I hope it inspires you to start making your own cards.

CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Cut the light blue cardstock in half to measure 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" then score to create a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" card base.
2. Cut mat from white cardstock measuring 4" x 5-1/4"
3. Using the Joys of the Season Cricut cartridge, cut three 1-1/2" {Flake1} from navy blue cardstock (p. 60 of handbook).
2. Using the Joys of the Season Cricut cartridge, cut three 1-1/2" {Flake1} using the layer function from light blue cardstock (p. 60 of handbook).

STEPS:

1. Emboss the white piece of cardstock using the D'Vine Swirl embossing folder.

2. Adhere the embossed piece of white cardstock centered on the front of the card base.

3. Apply the 2 Way Glue to the light blue snowflakes and cover with glitter. Let dry then adhere pearls to the center of each snow flake using the quickstic. Use dimensionals to adhere the glittered snowflakes to the navy blue snowflakes then adhere the assembled snowflakes with 1/2" glue dots centering them across the front of the card base.

4. Stamp sentiment with the Outdoor Denim ink on the front of the card base on a flat area of the white cardstock.
